  • journal entries;
  • uploaded files linked to journal entries, including photos and audio attachments;
  • editable profile information;
  • optional connection choices and permissions, such as connected calendar or activity services.

Open Badger, go to the relevant area of the app, and use the available edit or delete controls for the content you want to remove.

3.Data this may cover

Depending on your request and what is available in your account, a data deletion request may cover:

  • journal entries, notes and related content;
  • uploaded photos, audio files, transcripts and attachment metadata;
  • selected onboarding, preference or profile information;
  • connected-provider links or tokens;
  • optional wellbeing check-in content where it can be separated from the account safely.

4.Data we may need to keep

We may not be able to delete every record immediately or completely where we need to keep limited information for legal, accounting, payment, security, fraud prevention, audit, dispute handling or compliance reasons.

  • Payment, invoice, subscription and refund records may be retained where legally required.
  • Security, abuse-prevention and audit logs may be retained where needed to protect Badger and its users.
  • Support, privacy request and complaint correspondence may be retained to evidence how we handled your request.
  • Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten or deleted through normal backup cycles.
  • Anonymised or aggregated information may be retained where it no longer identifies you.

We keep retained information only for as long as we need it for the relevant purpose, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Where data can be deleted directly in the app, deletion usually starts when you confirm the action. For email requests, we aim to respond without undue delay and within 30 days after we have enough information to verify and process the request.
