This list identifies key providers that may process personal information for Badger. The precise role may vary: some providers act as processors for Badger, some provide platforms under their own terms, and some may act as independent controllers for parts of their service.
About this list
Badger uses selected providers for hosting, object storage, AI-supported features, subscriptions, payments, authentication, connected services, transactional email, push notifications, crash reporting, technical reliability and app delivery. Badger selects and manages these providers as part of operating the Services.
Current key providers
- Microsoft Azure - hosting, database, object storage, application operation and technical infrastructure.
- OpenAI - selected AI-supported features such as task generation or user-requested AI processing, subject to minimisation and feature permissions.
- Apple and Google - app distribution, app-store purchases, platform account services and platform-level subscription/payment administration where applicable.
- RevenueCat - subscription entitlement and receipt administration.
- Stripe - direct payment processing, invoices, receipts and payment-status metadata where direct purchases are offered.
- Postmark - transactional email, invite, OTP, reminder and service-message delivery.
- Sentry - crash, performance and reliability monitoring, configured to avoid journal content and other unnecessary private content.
- Expo - app build, delivery, update and push-notification infrastructure where used.
- Google, Microsoft and Fitbit connected-service providers - user-authorised connected-service data, where the user chooses to connect the relevant service.
B2B customers
For organisation-sponsored access, Badger acts as an independent controller for member app data. The use of providers does not give a customer any right to access private member content or individual-level app data.
Change notification
We review providers before use and maintain an internal Provider and Transfer Register. B2B customers may receive notice of material provider changes where required by contract or law.
